With a background in large-scale experiential and nonprofit events, our founder Loni brings a rare blend of creativity and operational depth to the table. She’s produced events at Coachella and the Super Bowl, celebrity birthday parties, and has helped raise millions for local and national nonprofits over the past ten years. That wide-ranging experience allows us to zoom out, anticipate what others might miss, and confidently guide your event from vision to reality—no matter how layered or logistically complex.

HI, I'M LONI
FOUNDER + LEAD PLANNER
SHE/HER
I’m Loni Peterson, MA—founder of LP Creative Events, logistics-loving planner, and passionate creative strategist. I’ve lived in Colorado for over 13 years with my husband, our two dogs, Dax and Penny, and our horses, Dusty and Sarge.

With a background spanning weddings, galas, endurance events, celebrity events, large-scale brand activations, I bring big-picture vision and detailed execution to everything I do. I’m currently serving as the National Director of Marketing & Communication for WIPA and was recently quoted in The New York Times. I’m also a full-time professor at CU Boulder, teaching in the Advertising, PR, and Design Department.

Whether I’m planning events or speaking on stages across the U.S. and abroad, my mission is the same: help people bring their boldest ideas to life—with clarity, confidence, and heart.
