How to Pick a Wedding Date in Colorado

Couple having a summer wedding in Colorado
Learning how to pick a wedding date in Colorado will help you enjoy your wedding day even more!

Colorado is such a hot spot when it comes to wedding locations! There really is no wrong answer when it comes to how to pick a wedding date in Colorado. It really just depends on what you are looking for and whether or not you want to get married during "wedding season" or not!

Here are some helpful things to consider:

- If you are wanting a Colorado winter wonderland, definitely look at getting married in November to April. Remember that the mountains always get the most snow and you are more guaranteed snow at these times. You also will be able to get the best rates in November through January, so there’s another plus! Early February, late March and April are also more reasonably priced.

- Summer in general is always a safe bet! The weather and scenery is beautiful and if you are wanting to incorporate camping or ranch- style activities, this is perfect! Do be warned, we have daily afternoon rain showers in the summer months. They usually last a short time and the locals always say, "Don't like the weather? Wait 10 minutes!"

- The fall is also a spectacular time and considered to have the best months for weddings. The warm, fall Colorado colors are unbeatable. Keep in mind that the weekends during this time get booked up quickly! September is THE busiest month in Colorado for weddings (considered the best wedding month), so if this is what you are wanting, we recommend thinking about planning at least a year in advance!

We hope these tips will help you when you are getting ready to schedule your wedding day in Colorado! Now you don't have to wonder how to pick a wedding date in Colorado!
