Emily and Ryan’s Joyful Mountain Wedding

Gorgeous Colorado Mountain Wedding

Stunning details, mountain views, and unexpected moments. When we say this mountain wedding was one to remember, we aren’t exaggerating! Take a look at how LP Creative Events helped Emily and Ryan celebrate like only they could!

Nestled in the Rocky Mountains at the end of a winding dirt road is Piney River Ranch, the perfect Colorado wedding venue for Emily and Ryan’s September nuptials. From the stunning views to dreamy florals, this Vail wedding day was a day set to be memorable. After getting ready with loved ones (which of course included their furry family member), and enjoying a sweet first look moment, Emily and Ryan officially became newlyweds!

Guests were invited to enjoy cocktails, appetizers, and lawn games as the couple stole away to make things official. Mother nature brought an unexpected sprinkle of rain and good luck, reminding everyone of the stunning landscape and helping Emily and Ryan capture some tender moments alone.

Guided towards dinner, their family and friends were greeted by a warm meal and comforting reception space. A beautiful dinner and lively conversation transitioned into toasts and golden hour photos, after which the bride and groom decided it was high time they put their dancing shoes to use.

Wedding Reception Magic

Johnny Mogambo band serenaded our love birds for their first dance and brought up the tempo, inviting guests to join in the fun! It was soon after that Emily and her bridesmaids decided an “outfit change” was necessary to enhance range of motion and prolong the party. A process involving Birkenstocks, laughter, and a pair of scissors, meant once long bridesmaids dresses were now dancing ready.

Needing to cool off a bit, our spontaneous bride took a dip in the alpine waters of Piney Lake! After getting dry and cozy she rejoined the dance floor to warm up with some late-night soft pretzels and melty cheese.

Dancing the night away Emily, Ryan, friends, and family were able to enjoy a mountain wedding experience they won’t soon forget.
